I'm selling my Gigabyte p35-DS3R (new bearlake chipset) Motherboard with a Core 2 Duo E6550 CPU. Both the MB and CPU are in perfect condition, and less than a month old. This combo has clocked over 3.4 Ghz 24hrs. stable with next to no effort on only 1.37 vcore. CPU runs really cool, never reaching 40c full load with my Enzotech Ultra X HSF. I have the original boxes and documentation. I also have the Cpu cooler, if you want it. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow if I have a chance. Paid $140 for the board and $180 for cpu plus shipping. I'm selling or trading, because I'd like to put a faster cpu in my new DFI p35 board. So here's the deal:

haha thus is the fate of the PC enthusiast! I suppose it's all good and well as long as you don't put yourself in debt, and you're still saving at least some money! :toast:

nflesher said it well...the life of a pc enthusiast. I just like to build and see how well new boards/cpu's perform. I've see good reviews on the DFI, so I want to try it. No other reason. It's my hobby. Nothing is ever financed by money from my "real job". I do some "on the side" pc tech work and system building....just enough to finance the hobby.

Shoot people jump on this, definitely a good combo to get anyone started on a sweet C2D rig that's guaranteed a great OC!

If it doesn't sell as a combo, I'd take $150 shipped. It is a GO stepping, and it clocks high on low volts with good temps. Not a gamble like buying new.

Jesus Christ....I'm so tempted to see if my parents will let me get this and start it off as my build. But....$250....grrr that's alot of money. And I defiantly need a few things I don't have....case, gfx, psu. So...$500 overall? Uhhhh stop tempting me...oh wait..ram too...$600 stop tempting me dude....grrr. Someone help me make a decision. SOB just looked at the newegg cart I have...that's alot of money for me to go..but under 1k...ughhh HELP SOMEONE!!!! Someone slap me and tell me I just don't have the money

This is a great deal, lower than new...but almost new, and it clocks better than 3.4 with little effort. I would have went higher, but I like my temps really cool. Did I mention this thing never went over 40c OC'd on air?

GREAT DEAL!!, if I wasn't so content with my P965/e6300 OC setup I would jump on that deal right now! I'm still kind of considering it, but my budget won't allow it until the second half of September....

It sucks right now. I had the same problem with my Brisbane and Tforce. Well under retail, yet still you can't get rid of it. Good luck with the sale, this is a really great deal :toast:
