Hi! I have been experiencing random slowdowns while playing Video (Vlc, youtube...), and gaming (Ryzen 2700x). It happens on random, and lasts about 3-5 seconds, graphic (video) slows down at like 0.1 fps and sound gets slow down as well, to the point of noise. It can happen like 1 minute after playing video (game) or 30 min. After couple seconds everything goes back to normal. It never happens while doing anything else (Autocad, Solidworks, browsing). Anyone knows whats causing these issues? Tried switching different PSU, Fresh Windows 10 install and latest (tried older drivers as well) Radeon pro software. It only happens on Ryzen Cpu system btw. Thanks!

Whats your GPU Model? tryied a different driver? Different GPU?

I saw that once in a friends PC it was after a driver update, old driver stopped.
It can also be your V.Core being too Low, try adding a little bit to it (like going from 1.35 to 1.36) try the same on the RAM and GPU.

I filled my system spec. Gpu is Rx590, tried with r9 380x as well, but same freezing issue happened. Gpu at stock settings for this test, usually a bit overclocked tho. Not sure if it's cpu problem, because only happens with Ryzen. Been googling for last hour but couldn't find anything useful, but there's many posts on forums about random freezing.

Shot in the dark here: hop into the BIOS and change the PCIe settings for the x16 slot from auto to gen3. See if that makes any difference.

So you've tried both GPUs on your Z77 system and don't get the same thing? Have you tried reseating your 2700X?

I took everything apart, and cleaned paste while doing it as well. Watched a movie this morning and seems it's not freezing anymore. Not sure if it was cpu, ram or something else.

Maybe you had a bad mount on CPU cooler and it was throttling due to high temp.

Glad it appears to have been fixed!
