So i set my at much tighter timings than default as suggested by @themctipersto me on discord but i think my command rate should be 1T instead of 2T and TRAS could be much tighter too, i left both at auto for best results and stability but didn't knew it's gonna be such defensive. I have 2x8GB Hynix 2666mhz cl19 RAM sticks, some basic oem ram and pretty cheap as well, one stick is CJR and other one is JJR so i wonder if having slightly difference can hinder oc potential

JJR is a really shitty bin of CJR, so yeah, unless your CJR also happens to be pure garbage (unlikely) it'll definitely impact OC potential.

Given that you have CJR on a locked Kaby Lake i5 and with a GTX 750 Ti, probably best just to leave it alone - you really aren't going to get much out of this. At those 2400 speeds and with your hardware, you'll be really hard pressed to notice any performance difference from doing anything.

None of Hynix's dies (save for maybe late 2020 DJR) are good overclockers. CJR's good for striking a good balance between performance and stability at reasonable 3200-3800 speeds (maybe up to 4133 for DJR). Having a mixed set of JJR and dubious CJR really isn't a great template for learning about memory OC regardless of what platform you're on

I can't remember if it holds true for Intel, but tRAS doesn't make much of a performance difference (if any) as long as you don't go way too low. You won't be tightening up tRFC much on any Hynix anyways, so not much room to work with.

Command rate is pretty simple. Run 1T if it's stable, run 2T if it's not. There's really not any in-between.

yeah i also felt cheated for buying this stick after i discovered JJR and CJR like the original one :(
I have now set tRAS to 35 and Command Rate 1T and seems stable
