hi
I have XFX Rx 580 (Rx-580P8DFD6) 8GB Model number RX-580P8D. I bought it second hand online but later find out that its both bios has been modified by the crypto miner so basically no gaming bios i have checked it online and i am 100% sure. on tech power up same BIOS is available but memory manufacturer is different mine is micron and available one is Samsung and only two bios of that specific model is available one is for mining and one is for gaming. so can anyone provide me the gaming bios compatible with micron memory ?

This BIOS supports Samsung and Micron memory, but it runs a little bit slower. Device ID matches so it should work for your card. It would be best to remove the heatsink and check for memory part numbers before flashing.

Are you sure you have problems with that BIOS in games?

Remove the card's heatsink and inspect visually. It's most likely Micron anyway.

yes i am getting stuttering and my clocks are 1250 and 2100 on memory and voltages are also high

i will check my memory manufacturer by removing heatsink i thinks stuttering is due to the memory timing and gpu z is showing micron but in physical i have different ones.

Hello,
Here is the original BIOS
The .W90 file for the right BIOS (the BIOS switch flipped to the position near the PCI-E power connector) and the .M80 file for the left.
Please note that driver reinstallation may be necessary after flashing the BIOS.
Thanks.
i got both bios version from xfx.

you need to force flash the bios using cmd.
can you link the procedure please. and i have checked my memory manufacturer by removing the heatsink and it is indeed micron.

ok by using the xfx provided bios i bricked my 1 bios. but fixed it by re-flashing the backup bios. xfx wtf

because these bios are for hynix/samsung cards.
you sure XFX send you these. lol

to force flash type in cmd / command prompt
atiwinflash -p -f 0 biosfilename

correct file was shared above and this is the mining bios / slower side. but its from unverified files.

don't have to do so much.. bios files have been shared with you above, just flash and forget it.

also remember if your supply has only 6 pin connectors try to get original or good quality two 6 to one 8 pin connector. the random simple 6 to 8 adapter doesn't provide enough power and your games will suffer.

Yes my power supply have 2 6 pin connectors but I'm using only one. And yes i have flashed the above given one and I'm not going to change a thing. But will sure buy a new power supply

one 6 pin will not provide enough power to the card, if you have a good supply no need to change just buy two 6 pin to one 8 pin adapter.
these are provided in the box. pretty sure your box must be empty :p

I contacted XFX support , and they were kind and provided me with OEM bios Files FOR THE GPU WITH THE EXACT SPECS AS ABOVE !
I uploaded the files here . And quoted Mr. Wade who helped me :
"The one named W90 is for normal use and the other one is for mining.

Thanks

Wade"

If you flashed your cards and both BIOS-es are working properly, then you should upload those BIOS-es in TPU database for other users in need.
