Model: UN50EH5300FXZC no longer shows HDMI plugged devices

Hi all!
I used to use a Fire TV Stick until a few days ago, when the tv no longer recognized it. I thought the problem was the streaming stick itself, so I bought a Roku device. But it is presenting the same issue: When going to the Source page the streaming device won't show in the HDMI3 choice, as it used to.
The tv also has 2 USB ports. Should I get a HDMI to USB cable? (assuming there are).
I hope there a simpler way though.

How to choose 1 or 2?

My choices are:
1. TV
2. HDMI3
3. AV
4. Network

When I choose #2 it fails to access the device plugged in. Maybe there is a problem with the HDMI port?
I do not know why it shows HDMI3 when there is only one HDMI port.

I guess is time to buy a new tv. I think this model is about 6 or 7 years old.
