NVCleanstall not installing NVIDIA Control Panel app when installing drivers

So when I install my driver through NVCleanstall I get an error when I select the NVIDIA Control Panel app to be installed. Is this familiar?

I use Windows 10.

Does it have problems running in Safe Mode? I use Safe Mode to install drivers, because that's what DDU requires. Otherwise Windows will interfere with the installation process and install its own drivers from Windows Update (which is very annoying), but anyway that's just how Microsoft programmed it.

I can install the NVIDIA Control Panel app afterwards, but it just seems weird that NVCleanstall doesn't install it.

Which option did you use: best driver/manually select/files from disk?
Compared to previous driver did you switch from legacy installer to DCH or vice versa?

You should uninstall the drivers in safe mode and install in normal mode

NVCleanstall will automatically block Windows Update while running

Safe Mode
I'll test installing the App in Safe Mode, maybe the Store interface isn't available in this mode

I had it happening that even if I ran NVCleanstall Windows still installed its own driver even though it's running. I swear it did. Thanks for responding so fast. Well you're a wizard after all.

Maybe on an older version?

Next version will check for Safe Mode and warn accordingly

I've never seen a programmer respond so quick to things his own software. Props man. That would be neat.

I love the slimming of the drivers. Nvidia should just offer to uninstall without all the bullcrap though. It's really bad that we have to do it with 3rd Party software. Privacy should be a optional choice.
