Hello, I'm trying to decide between 2 B560 motherboards from MSI, the B560M Bazooka and the B560M Pro-VDH, based on this video: both of them are virtually the same, being the only differences the gamer aesthetic and the bigger heatsink on the Bazooka (and some video outputs); based on the roundup of the B550 by Hardware Unboxed (I know they are difference chipsets, but they use the same heatsink design) the bigger heatsink on the Bazooka helps in VRM cooling a lot, so here's my question, since the Bazooka is 50-60 dollars more expensive than the Pro-VDH where I live and I dont like the idea of paying that amount for a change of heatsink, should I go for the Pro-VDH? Would it be enough to run a 11400F (and possibly a 11700F in the future) without power limits or will it throttle down? I know I should wait for the HU B560 roundup but for *reasons* the prices in where I live are increasing everyday (local currency is decreasing value in an alarming rate) so I hope anyone with experience could help me with this buy before the prices get higher, I also only mentioned these two B560 because all other B560 are out of stock or EXTREMELY inflated in prices.

Well mostly what you have already mentioned in terms of improved cooling for the Bazooka, personally, if I was only running an 11400F the Pro would be fine, if I was seriously thinking of opting for an 11700F in the future then I may consider the Bazooka although I would think the Pro is likely to be perfectly adequate.
The only difference other than that appears to be Crossfire support for the Bazooka, if that is something you will never be interested in and if the difference really is 50 - $60 then I would probably just go for the Pro, I don't think the gains are quite enough for the cost ..... just my opinion.

A fan over the VRM heatsinks will be cheaper and do more than the difference in heatsinks between those boards. From all info I've been able to find they are the same basic board with the same VRM. I doubt they will struggle with a 11700F under realistic circumstances, if you go off and do AVX512 all day maybe you will need that fan, but otherwise they should fare fine.
Are you looking at a different Bazooka than I am? The mATX ones only have a single x16 (physical) slot.

I would go for the Bazooka for better VRM cooling, bad VRM cooling may cause throttling and these 11th gen CPUs could draw a lot of power even for the F versions.
From TPU's review stress testing a whole system with 11400F could draw up to 281 watts under maximum power limits.

I went to MSI's site and did a specs compare between the 2 boards and it says crossfire compatible for the bazooka, just double checked it again only looking at the Bazooka specs and it says ......................

If you want to run an 11700F with no power limits, I would suggest buying the motherboard with the beefiest VRM and beefiest VRM cooling you can afford. Out of your two options, definitely Bazooka (unless it means you won't have money for a better graphics card for example), although the Asus B560M-Plus Wifi presented in the video is a good board too (I have one and love it).

You should be able to run xfire on both then, it will just be through a 1x chipset slot, I'm pretty sure it doesn't care at all about being run like that. (x
Either way like you said it's irrelevant
Make sure it's the TUF one, the prime ones are worse than the MSIs in terms of VRM quality.
