Pricing on the master is better than I expected. Not a fan of the newer aesthetic wish they had kept the older design looks wise.

To me the new i/o cover looks cheap AF hopefully it looks better in person.

I prefer the looks of it over the original Aorus Master. Also the updated power delivery, updated rear IO, updated sound, is all welcomed improvements to the platform imo

Just hate that like on Z590/490 they just slapped an Aorus sticker on it over the I/O shield other than that it looks great and yeah all the other improvements are welcome.... Although AMD milking a 2 year old chipset kinda baffles me. Would rather just have gotten something better latter this year.

Guessing Zen 4 is coming later than expected and we are only getting a Zen 3 refresh this year.

What would you have wanted that's missing?
Everyone complained about the fans, so they fixed that, yet you want something else?
The older X570 chipset is EOL, so there won't be any more boards made with it and this is why we're getting updated boards.
Thanks to B550 we're most likely going to see fewer X570S SKUs as well.

The rumour is a refreshed CPU, but so far no-one seems to have any leaks about what it might be.

Zen 4 will most likely be Q3 2022, but that's a guess.

ddr5 pcie gen 5 etc.... You know shit we aren't getting till next year if we are lucky lol.... As an X570 board the new Master is perfect.... The fan thing is way overblown though I run 980 pros and the fan still doesn't come on even with a 3080 ti dumping 400w of heat in the case. Although my ambient is never above 72 so maybe if I lived in Phoenix it'd be a problem

Most X570 boards already out have access to the new AGESA update that comes with the X570S boards that allows the chipset to run a bit cooler not needing the fan to turn on at all.

Zen3 refresh with possible v-cache is likely coming early 2022. January/February from what I've heard.

yeah thats the only thing. The slapping of the Aorus sticker wording on the I/O shield area is pretty cringe. I like all the rest of it, and it saved me $60 from getting a Hero Dark.

I've had X570 boards since launch neither of them run hot on the chipset......

I ignore rumors but considering AMD demoed Zen 3 with 3D cache it sorta makes sense for them to release it as a refresh for sure.

Did a build with the Dark for a buddy and in person it's oh so nice def my favorite X570 board aesthetically but not worth buying due to already owning the OG model.
