AM2 "Cool n' Quite" Vista OS AMD/ATi Budget Gamer PC / Brand new in BOX ! ! ! @ $399 - Newegg.com price = $600+ - PRICE REDUCED ! ! !

I've just finished building a brand new small form factor budget gamer for a client whom ultimately backed out of the transaction and instead of part it back out and try to send things back to Newegg, I've decided to see if anyone here would be interested!? It's a brand new Vista/DX10 (capable) system thats ready for midrange gaming and I'm going to start off by selling it for a tasty price! If it does not end up selling here, it will go to eBay where it will ultimately sell for more than what I am asking! For those out there that may be interested and are overclocking junkies, the motherboard does feature a decent overclocking friendly setup and the CPU is a Brisbane core which needs no introduction to AMD enthusiasts as it is a great low TDP and good overclocker.

This PC comes fully assembled in retail box and shipped directly to your door, ready to go! I am going to start off by asking just $400 USD for the entire setup, this includes testing and assembly fees but not shipping and handling. As you can see with the screenshot provided below, it cost well over $600 USD and that is without the OS. I will ship this PC fully formatted with a fresh install of Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, updated and with the lastest system drivers as well! I frankly can't see how you could possibly do better for an entire respectable DX10 capable gaming system and still be under $400 USD, this is honestly a good bargin deal!

Here is what is included :

  1. HEC 6K28BB8F Piano/Mirrored Black Finish 0.8mm SECC Steel MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case
  2. HEC Orion Series XPOWER585 ATX from factor 12V V2.01 585W Power Supply (I)

No, your not seeing things. I indeed didn't say whether or not I'd be willing to part out the peices! :D ATM, I'd just like to get rid of it all in one big sale but if I can't move any of this in a short while, then I'll most likely part it out! I'm opened to trades so there might be something you can offer that will score yourself a nice barebones combo! ;)

PMs replied to and thanks nflesher87 for the comment! :toast:

Heh, thanks!

And Demos, the video card is the normal GDDR2 version. This is the exact card that is being offered in the AM2 bundle.

Thanks for the BuMP, Solaris! I thought about doing that (turning one of them into a folding rig) but I still have a couple more Athlon XP and Pentium 3/4 based PCs on hand even if I were to sell these two so I can always just use one of those instead! ;)

BTW, read your note regarding the memory and the trade deal we did earlier, glad to see that your happy with the new Crucial Ballistix memory stick! Was kinda sad to have to let it go but ultimately I have too much excess in PC hardware laying around and just needed to clean house a bit. Anyhow, thanks again for the processor, it's working beautifuly and OCs very nicely btw! I'd leave you heatware but unfortunately, I can't. I no longer have a heatware account thanks to a troll who stole a brand new custom PC I built and sold on [H]ardForums about a year ago and he had the nerve to also leave a bunch of negative feedback as well! The admin also wasn't very helpfull and told me that I have to live with it and was not able to even start a new account!

Anyhow, I'm off to bed now! Also, replied to a handfull more PMs!

Hmmm, the AM2 setup is really tempting, I could use it to replace my aging PIII file server in my house...

I'm also willing to do partial or full trades, depending on the item if that helps sway you at all! ;)

Just worked out the value of the AM2 barebones kit that I have for sale.

To give you folks an idea of the incedible deal you are getting...

Newegg value/price example : Abit nF-M2 nVIEW Motherboard = $105 USD Shipped - A64 Orleans 3800+ OEM = $67 USD Shipped - 1GB DDR2 667 Dual Channel Memory Kit = $42 USD Shipped - Vantec IceBerQ Copper Cooler Kit = $14 USD Shipped (no longer in stock) - ThermalTake Copper Memory Heatspreaders = $22 ($11 each x 2) USD Shipped

Hey Sov,
Im interested in both BUT ....

That 754 rig, Is that a dual channel kit? Would I be able to pair my Kingston 512 stick with the corsair? Kingston's spd timings are 3-3-3-8.

LMK .... Thx

Heya bud!

Regarding the S754 combo, all S754 systems are single channel only. This is due to the CPU only having a single channel based memory controller built in. So, even if you had an actual dual channel memory kit, using it in any socket 754 based system will result in single channel operation. You have to move up to a socket 939 or newer to be able to use and take advantage of dual channel memory. However, with that being said, the s754 combo I have for sale is no slouch of a system. Pair it up with low latency memory and a decent video card and it will continue to hold it's own.

P.S - The memory stick I have bundled with the combo is actualy a Cas 2.5-3-3-6 chip!
