Hi all,

i would like to know if i can flash my 3080ti trinity with the bios of a 3080ti holo. Someone tried it? I don't want to brick my graphic cards :ohwell:.

I'm trying this because under load i reach a power limit of 330 wat and at lease i would like to reach 350w.

Thanks :)

I'm curious. Is it really worth it? You wont get a lot of boost with additional 20watts if you wanna push the card to its limits.

Yes you can flash different brand of 3080 Ti to your card, it's not dangerous if you know what you are doing and have back up plan LOL.

Gigabyte 3080 Ti Gaming OC (370W) is probably the best BIOS for your Zotac Trinity

I've installed the eiswolf 2 aio kit on the card and i would like to try to push it a little more. Using the firestorm software from zotac i tried to put the power limit at 110% but i cant get more than 330 watt and it bother me

i'm looking at the amp holo and the power limit is at 385W, do you think that the gigabyte one is better?

well bios is one thing but maybe the card you have can't go more than that anyway. I'd look for a review where they check the hardware max power and if the card can actually go higher than that. Maybe it is hardware constraint and wont be able to deliver more than 330Watts. Unlikely but I would check anyway.

a guru3d review reported a max power draw of 334w...but zotac said that the power limit is 350w...so i would like to try a different bios to see if i can get something more

Yeah I just check the Zotac Holo AMP use 2x8 PCIe power connectors, so you can flash it to your Trinity no problem.

Its a self protection mechanism, why do you want to flash the bios?

So did you ever flash the bios to the gigabyte one? I have the trinity and it bothers me that it won't go above 325w power ceiling.

Perhaps there is a physical limit on your part and cooling solution cant handle more than that.

If you want to flash fry it be my guest, you can find guides on how to do so here.
