I think,im facing problem like that thread too. but mine is i7 6700hq.
that has temp problem normal temp is around 34-42,when i playing game temp will go around 50-60
fps 50-60 after 30-40min its was spike up to 70-81and got slutter graphic (before i found throttlestop its was 82-89 and fps got fck up).
its just normal?or its can be better.
im trying to learnig about throttle stop software but some feature i cant understand.

Why did you check Disable Turbo? That makes your CPU run slow.

Why did you set the turbo power limits to 25W and 32W? You have a 45W CPU. Setting the power limits this low will kill performance. Use the default values, 45W, 56W, 28 seconds.

Fix these problems and reboot. Let your CPU run hot. If you have a Dell laptop, check the Clock Mod option on the main ThrottleStop screen and leave that set to 100.0%.

After you make these changes, turn on the Log File option so I can see how your computer is running. Attach a log file to your next post. Do some gaming for at least 15 minutes so there are lots of numbers for me to look at.

In the Options window, if you do not see a lock icon near the PROCHOT Offset setting then reduce PROCHOT Offset from 10 to 3. Throttling a CPU at 90°C is too low. This can reduce maximum performance.

Not ok for sure , but I see that you have a few things to fix in TS first , thermals should be addressed at some point , wait for unclewebb’s input

If your laptop is having shutdown problems at high temperatures, try setting PROCHOT Offset to 5. Laptops are not supposed to thermal shut down until 125°C but some laptops set this way too conservatively and can shut down when the CPU is at only 100°C.
