Oh my god, Can't wait for TF2 Beta!

Damn you "lack of patience" genes...I just can't wait. The game looks sweet. I dled gcfscape, opened the TF2 pre-load (not encrypted!) are started click on the voice overs...funny as hell! And on top of that, unique animations for each voice over. Under media folder, there is a map overview files show some of the animation and a small look over of each map. One unique thing is when running with the briefcase, you leave a small paper trail. Another is when the soldier get shot and killed, when he drops to the ground he trys to do a salute before he dies...lol. Awesome, just awesome.

Edit: if you haven't already heard, the beta is tomorrow...woot!

The models look the way they do because Valve surveys have shown that players identify a "class" by the way that particular class looks. Therefore, each class's model looks completely different, and when we see the images we will immediately determine which class we are looking at simply by the way they look.

Same thing with Bioshock... art was different. I like this, more solid colors, more cartoonish, but it does appeal to like... 5 year olds so... really n00bs over the mic = bad.

My rig should run it on high with a little overclocking and get good FPS. I take it as those are Intel speeds like the P4 or PD.
