I finally got my own 6600 XT. It's an Asus Dual OC, because Strix OC is out of stock...
But it seems that my silicon is struggling to push frequency up. You see, it needs a voltage of almost 1150 mV when max frequency is not even set to 2700 MHz. And the moment I raise max frequency to above 2700 MHz, it starts to fail all kinds of tests, and at the same time, temperatures are good, power is less than max TDP +20%...
I see that in many reviews Navi 22 and Navi 23 can go up to 2750 MHz even 2800 MHz. So I expect that my silicon has the same ability...
What else can help me get it higher? Or is my silicon just bad binning?

Does bad binning silicon go down to mainstream products? lol
But I also see that Sapphire Pulse OC model can go above 2700 MHz as well.
I want to know how to overclock 6000 series cards... This is different from Polaris cards...

Pulse are in a different league than Duals.

And yes better binned chips are held for the Likes of Asus ROG, Sapphire Nitro/Toxic/VaporX, Asrock Taichi/OC Formula, PowerColor Red Devil

OC is like anything else, up clock speed then volts, or tighten timings on ram or loosen and increase clocks with voltage, reference 6700 Videos

Chips are a like a box of chocolates, you won't know what you gonna get. That is the excitement of OCing. I will say though you probably should of just grabbed a 6700 since the 6600s are bus limited like the RX 560 was...

Oh no. I should've waited until Strix OC comes back in stock...

Heck. I've always favoured Sapphire cards. But this time considering it's only got two heat pipes, I turned to Asus... Well, I'm not attracted by the appearance of other models...

A little too plastic for me :p
I like simple metal dark-coloured style more...
If there's an AMD reference design, I'd definitely go for it...

And one thing I'm curious about... Why isn't dual oc reviewed by many media? I probably would've known it's not so good at overclocking should any media tested...

Well... How do I put this... It's a little hard to describe... Maybe it just depends on whether I'm attracted by the first look :p

This guy’s pretty good for schooling on AMD overclocking. He was one of my sources when I started OC my 6700 XT.

His OC were a little too unstable for me though, but the principles still apply…

Wasn’t Biostar one of the very worst performing cards due to their abysmal cooler setup? I may have it mixed up, but I’m sure a brand that sounded like Biostar was criticised by just about every reviewer.

If you are familiar with morepowertool go to igor's lab and download the application there is already a guide on how to use it, there are some things to change but I would recommend if you use it to just pay attention to 3 settings with them and I have just brought it 6800 very close to the performance levels of a 6800xt,the first adjustment is in the frequency field there you will find in the left column at the end the Fclk in my case the initial value was 1400 and now I have it in 1875 for the second adjustment you go to the power and voltage there it changed in the right column at the end it adjusts DPM and put 900 from 850 and 1400 from 1350,and third go to power and voltage again and change "Memory Access At Last Level" and go from 1400 to 1800 always remember those are the numbers of my 6800 for your 6600xt i do not now the exactly frequency's,there are other things you can do but I personally by changing these 3 settings i reached the card as I said at the beginning in the footsteps of 6800xt my card works just fine from temperatures and does not face any instability.
Sry for my English.

Seems like the latest version has added many more features to adjust. I'll try as you said. Thanks!

These aren't for World beating benchmark scores. More for a decent all-round performance/noise/power use...

GPU: 2400-2724MHz
Voltage: 1100mV
VRAM: Stock, but with Fast Timings
SAM: Enabled
Zero RPM: Disabled
Max Fan Speed: 75%
Power Limit: Stock

Anyone knows what the safe voltage for Navi 2x silicon is?
I think I have to increase voltage...

Do it in baby steps
Yes, of course. Just if I'm going to use MorePowerTool to unlock the maximum voltage, what value is suitable? Maybe 1200 mV or 1250 mV? I'm just afraid of cooking it...
Or maybe since this is the same TSMC 7 nm transistors as a Ryzen silicon, its voltage can be regarded the same? Just guessing lol

Hey, bro. After so much time trying, I found that on Navi 23 if I set Gfx max voltage any higher than default 1150 mV in MPT, the card would automatically lock itself down to very low frequencies.
Maybe this approach for overclocking 6900 XT doesn't apply here...
