Sapphire Pulse rx580 8gb problem after flashing bios.

Hello, i have opened a thread regarding this problem before but my issue was not solved.

Problem summary: Whenever I open a browser a blank page is displayed for a second before the browser loads successfully, this issue does not happen if i uninstall all my gpu drivers.

How the problem happened. I have flashed my rx580 8gb bios about 3 months ago, after flashing it to a newer version the issue started happening i made a big mistake and lost my original bios file, i have contacted sapphire and requested my original bios file back. Got my bios file back and flashed it but realised the problem still continues.

Is it possible they sent me the wrong bios file ?

Regarding the problem i also have checked the system with Latencymon, and it says the dxgkernel is causing massive latency delays, the interesting thing is the latency goes back to normal if i uninstall my gpu drivers but comes back once i install them back. So I think this finding is related to my problem i am experiencing with my gpu.

Try using old drivers and check the latency. Doesn't sound like its related.

Check your moterboard BIOS settings, make sure its updated, and try to load optimized defaults.

I had a similar weird issue, because of AMD GPU drivers and AHCI drivers (chipset ones) conflicting. my system would stutter while using google chrome but not while playing games lol.

Hello, I have loaded my mobo settings to default and uninstalled both the amd chipsetdrivers and gpu drivers.
After the uninstall i have installed only the graphics driver and the latency is minimized but it is still there.

The browser problem and the latency due to dxgkrnl,hdaudbus and wdf01000.sys is still persisting. In games and benchmarks performance of gpu is totally fine but opening any browser page still causes a blank white page delay when graphics drivers are installed. It opens just fine if i open a new tab though.

I also noticed during those heavy latency spikes my whole pc stutters and audio starts buzzing,crackling.

Update: Everything works perfectly with another gpu, im %100 sure its a gpu issue. Have i damaged my gpu by flashing non factory bios ?

Flashed it, still have the problem. I want to add that it opens browsers properly in safe mode.

Uninstall ALL amd drivers, then perform a cleanup with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then try to reinstall drivers.

Try using Live DVD of Linux and see if it happens there too.

Have reinstalled windows 10, with all the newest drivers. Problem persists.

I think i have a theory. My gpus shader cache might be damaged, should i try disabling it ?

That was absolutely nothing to do with the GPU and least of all the vbios, stop flashing the vbios. My chrome does exactly the same thing, i just tried it, i have some extension maybe that's the problem or is just chrome being chrome, i never use it. Install firefox that is a much better, faster and not so resource hog. I bet you the problem is solved right there.

install firefox, don't use google as the startup page, leave it as firefox home default

because without GPU drivers your OS stops showing animations.

Guys my problem got totally solved as of today, after i installed the new microsoft windows 10 update and amd 22.1.1 driver i no longer have that browser problem and the latency shown in latencymon is down to around 100 micro seconds ! If you have the same issue just update the software!

Turn off hardware acceleration in the browser, it's not needed for web browsers, cpus are powerful enough to handle youtube, java etc, it was never patched

It had nothing to do with hardware acceleration, was already off. I believe it has to do with how gpu drivers interact with windows 10, particularly with directx.

Understand this, hardware acceleration in webbrowsers has been a problem since it first appeard 24 years ago, this is first hand experience, now turn it off.
