When i first try to start unreal with glide it say missing glide2x.dll or something, so i simply copied it from the driver folder to the game folder where the exe file is. Now the game starts in glide mode.
I use the SFFT Software Suite 1.0

Yes. Because i cant make the driver work on Windows 10.
The driver i linked and istalled is for 2k, XP, Vista, 7 so it is possible that is an XPDM driver so the last os that support is windows 7.
If i find a way to work on windows 10 i will post it!

Not so much that someone made drivers, more that 7 is the last OS to accept the old XP driver model.

I have a newer testing rig, not faster but newer. Win7 Sp1 x86 and voodoo3 2000 stock not overclocked.


Because it is x86 i can test all video cards that have at least xp drivers (no need 64bit driver) so i can test a lot of cards in this modern system only limitation is that the card use pci bus instead of agp.

Wow, this is a blast from the past! I bought a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI brand new for £50 waaay back in 2000. It was really good for Unreal Tournament on Windows 98 SE. I upgraded it to an NVIDIA FX 5200 a while later when I moved over to Windows XP. Mind you, some might consider that FX a downgrade with newer technology lol.

Of course, I haven't used it for years, but that Voodoo is back in its box, with both card and box still in mint condition. It's become part of my collection of classic graphics cards now. That FX 5200 is well used and knocking around somewhere with the box is nowhere to be seen.

Btw i have a few boxes of old video cards.

Here its a Geforce2 MX not the 200 or 400 type it is just the first mx card. Still faster than the voodoo3 2000


And the last one today is a Inno 7600Gs 256mb ddr2 AGP, interesting because it uses an agp to pcie bridge chip so it is converted a lot of times with the adapters pcie-agp-pci-pcie.
So there is a heavy bottleneck on the bus. But in native agp is is a not a bad card.


Somehow my Abit Geforce3 Ti200 crashes on 3dmark, and my Leadtek Ti4200 is not starting in this skylake config so these adapters not fully compatible to all cards. Its works with the Geforce Fx series, All Ati 9xxx series cards and all older cards with 2x AGP. Dont know why the geforce3 and 4 not supported (Geforce4 MX series works)

Hmm you could try a program called 3Dp which has a whole server database of drivers that *May work or try program Driver booster but try 3Dp first

OP says that they don't want emulation. nGlide isn't an emulator and there's no graphics degradation. And if OP expects to make defunct company's hardware to somehow magically shit out Win 10 compatible drivers, then that's not going to happen. Not to mention, that unless there's a strict requirement for Glide, DirectX was graphically superior. Somewhere around Riva 128 is was very obvious that Glide and 3dfx were lagging behind and gap wasn't ever properly closed. Once Geforce cards rolled out, 3dfx was already woefully obsolete.

Anyway, if OP still insists on having VooDoo, they can try forcing XP driver inf files. It might function to some extent.
