Hello all , need your opinion on pc case purchase - found Silverstone RV02 brand new in box case for sale, i kind of like how it looks and cooling performans are great people say on forums but its old style case and there are few things i dont like - no usb 3 and usb c (can buy it separetly usb upgrade kit from silverstone) , and graphick cards max lenght is 12.2" and manual sugest blower style gpu only for best results.

Im looking for best aircooling case but with dust filters so thinking mabe buy Fractal Design Torrent instead - i can use longer gpu with that , or mabe buy Lianli case design like 011 D XL

If im not buying RV02 then there is posibility im not gona find it again in this condition , but for same price i can buy new modern case like Torrent or 011D XL

what your opinions, mabe someone has RV02 and strugling with it because of gpu size or blower type ?

I have no experience with said case. The only advice I can give? Get what YOU like, as your going to be the one building your rig in it and ultimately (and most importantly) looking at it every day. ;)
So whichever you go with, make sure you love that badboy!

The GPU length is definitely a limiting factor (310mm, where cards like the 3080+ are definitely exceeding that length), but axial vs radial GPU coolers isn’t much of an issue these days with AIB cards having solid design.

If you like it and you don’t think you’ll be buying a high end GPU for the life of the case, I’d say go for it. It’s not the easiest case to build in (not hard, either), and it’s lacking a lot of modern features and conveniences, but it’s cooling is excellent and it’s pretty well built. I might look for a FT02 to avoid the plastic, or consider the Alta F1 (modern FT02 successor) if you have the money, but that’s mostly aesthetic choice.

The Torrent and 011 are excellent options as well, and better suited for the size of modern GPUs, so really just a question of things like modern I/O and rubber grommets, IMO.

Benchmark Scores (My Windows daily driver is a Beelink Mini S12. I'm not interested in benchmarking.)
I have an O11 variant, the O11D Mini and I can vouch for the flexibility of this case's layout and ease of installation.

Since I am using a mini-ITX motherboard I have a wide range of configuration possibilities regarding radiator and fan placement in the O11D Mini, even more than my Lian Li Lancool II Mesh Performance mid-tower case (another fine case that is very easy to work in).

Hello again, read more forums about gpu coolers and rv02 and only good option is blower style cards, other cards get +15 increase heat, so decided to buy fractal meshify 2 because top is vented and has dust filters everywhere. Good luck all , thanks for your opinions

With those 3 air penetrators at the bottom it used to be one of the chart toppers at GN.

What @Chomiq said — I’ve used five different axial (not blower) GPUs in my FT02 with great temps.

If you have big hands like I do, avoid this size of case unless you like damaging your fingers when building.
