This thread is a perfect example of how NOT to approach troubleshooting as a group.

6 pages...to replace the pads.

Solution by committee

Then again we were asked to rate the liquid metal, when the real issue was something else.

When provided the wrong information or in the wrong order, this always happens

In this case OP did provide all the information, but asked the wrong question - everyone focused on the LM, ignoring the honking huge pads assuming he had them correct.

We all told him it's the pad.
But he said the waterblock is not good, was using too much LM, he said he wants to go back to air cooling. We were shouting it's the pad and he was saying Yadee Yadda

but asked the wrong question
I agree, he asks a lots of questions instead of following instructions.

I said they're marshmallows. But @cvaldes was in his radiology lab diagnosing that they're stacked in the right place! Then defending the OP that he must be able to do whatever he wants. giving an already not a good listener, more courage for not listening.

you claimed they where stacked. but they are not. you claimed they where to thick. i had a reason. you claimed i should use thinner ones i used orginals ones first time and acording to manual. this list goes on and on. dont use rear bracked. one says more lm. one says no pads. run die . one says i dont have expierance water cooling one says go water on cpu dont waste it on gpu oh wait that was you thats not a solotion to my issue or what so ever compleetly off topic and you stil keep ranting about it.

I didn't say they're stacked
I didn't say use more LM

I claimed they're too thick, you had a reason.... Reason? You had a reason. You know when people are helping you, you shouldn't respond with questions and reasons. You should do what they say, because you asked for help and we were helping, and you were not listening....

I didn't say don't use back bracket.

Of course, your watercooling and your English are at same experience level
I didn't say don't waste water in GPU. I said your waterblock is fine, temps you can achieve with it won't need LM so you can save and go ahead with your CPU (because the waterblock quality is fine) - I think you have serious problems understanding English

I wasn't saying the solution for your gpu is to watercool your CPU, I was saying the problem is not with waterblock, it's the (finally you solved it)

And how rude of you to say I'm ranting. Whereas obviously the solution was in my posts. May be your English understanding is too inadequate. I was the first post to say your thermal pads are think. I expect no manners from you...

Hi,
If you notice where it says power limit +50
Do the same symbol for memory and core clocks although I wouldn't do +900 on memory...

I like the older versions better

Hi,

Just entering a number isn't enough it must start with +...

i wonder if im doing it correctly... so you decide...
tempretures.. wel they are worse then i started with... thermal trotels immediately after firing up furmark...
tough idle is 31c...
Loaded question right there like when wife asks if her ass looks fat.

i dont know. he said something about it i dont know why??

I think there's a lot of confusion at this point.

Thermal paste was going on pads or instead of them at one point, but I never clearly understood what was meant to be in those places from stock

no i never said that
