Put together a new build for a friend, and it won't post display. Stripped it down and double checked all connectors, no debug lights active. Checked graphics card on my pc and card is good. Only thing I've noticed is that ram rgbs flicker off during power up then come on normal. Have tried single stick, all slots with same symptom. everything lights up and fans spin. Case power light blinks as if in standby but not display / beep (no speaker).

Specs
Ryzen 5 7600x
Asus prime x670 pro wifi
Trident g skill z5 neo amd expo 32gb
Msi 3060ti ventus 3x
Corsair icue h100i
Samsung 980 1tb m.2
Corsair rm750x
Corsair icue 4000x case

Thinking of making a trip to the local store for different ram

Might be memory training, how long did you leave it on for when first powering on?

Ive let it run for about 5-10 minutes, nothing shows
Reseat the gpu card in the slot

Also that mobo has a single side latch bar for the Ram (the latch bar is at the top). Get your board manual out and see which slots the ram must go into and read how to install the ram correctly. (Bottom end goes in first then the top end, press both after insertion to ensure full seat) clear cmos.

Also I suggest removing the heatsink and ensure you didnt put the cpu in wrong (distorted pins)

While some articles list up to 6 mins for the first ryzen 7000 boot, jayz2centz and other youtubers I have watched have said it took even longer (15 mins). Hopefully power cycling during that process didn't affect anything but try leaving it alone for 30 full minutes after powering on.

System Name Bragging Rights
Processor Atom Z3735F 1.33GHz
Motherboard It has no markings but it's green
Cooling No, it's a 2.2W processor
Memory 2GB DDR3L-1333
Video Card(s) Gen7 Intel HD (4EU @ 311MHz)
Storage 32GB eMMC and 128GB Sandisk Extreme U3
Display(s) 10" IPS 1280x800 60Hz
Case Veddha T2
Audio Device(s) Apparently, yes
Power Supply Samsung 18W 5V fast-charger
Mouse MX Anywhere 2
Keyboard Logitech MX Keys (not Cherry MX at all)
VR HMD Samsung Oddyssey, not that I'd plug it into this though....
Software W10 21H1, barely
Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
Brief flash and then nothing can be a ground short. The board powers up, detects a short, and cuts power before anything can burn out.

Breadboard the system as a minimum viable product on the motherboard box.: PSU to CPU/Board/single DIMM using the IGP on the CPU

If that won't post, it's time to RMA something.

Test the gpu in another system
C'mon man. Did you stop reading before his third sentence?

What you call nitpicking I call "ridiculously short attention span", but you've earned some slack around here so I'll let that one slide ;)

I’ve seen an oddity on my own RyZen 7950X + ASRock B650E PG Riptide WiFi motherboard with G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5 6000 RAM 2x16GB kit. For the initial build, I used a GTX 970 card which worked fine for the first BIOS configuration. However, after that, booting to configure Windows resulted in a blank screen every time. Thinking the card had failed I switched to onboard video which worked fine. Testing the card in another system indicated there was nothing wrong with the card. I used two different cards on the RyZen 7950X system and they both worked fine (GTX 1060 and RTX 3050).

This was on early BIOS so an update might have addressed the issue. IIRC there was a specific BIOS update for some nVidia cards for some ASRock boards.

If possible, update the BIOS, try clearing the BIOS, use default RAM settings after memory tuning and if you have to just use onboard video to get the system up and running.
