That's either a driver bug, or a (vaguely) monitor one - changing between fullscreen and borderless windowed for example

found this article on it i havent read yet, but if you google microsofts articles it's meant to "just work" yet clearly does not

I don't think I've ever seen it at work. Also, I imagine people with domain controllers and the like would probably set up WSUS (or whatever name it's called) instead of that.

Best thing to do is create a system image and upgrade and see for your self.
If you don't like it "and at first look" you likely wont it is a very weird oobe and for myself 11 needs a lot of changes to get fairly decent.

Our IT guy at work has been running 11Pro on his AMD PC's since it came out and likes it over 10. He has no issues with it and pushed me to run it on my new intel build, which I am glad that I did, and find it is faster and seems just as stable as 10 is. The UI gets some used to getting too, but once you get the feel for it, it's not that bad.

I would try it and if you do not like it, you could always revert back to 10.

The best summary is that 11 has had two major problems with AMD CPU's in it's lifetime, that were both patched fairly fast - but news articles about them are often posted AFTER the fix has gone live, and stay online forever

This often gives a lot of negativity the OS doesnt deserve, but it's ragebait that makes ad revenue so it'll never stop (And it'll happen about all tech, everywhere)

Nope, app works fine for me. EDIT: Nevermind, I see what you mean, there are no details of the temperatures for the next days, just the min-max. App has not been updated in the last couple of days, so it might be an issue from the weather data provider.

WHat do you see when you click on monday or further in the week?

For Today it's still working fine for me.

I have only ever had success with WSUS, but that's a maintenance nightmare for a home user.

Fixed on my end too. Probably a problem with the weather data provider since MS Store doesn't list any recent updates of the app.

I tried using weather.com (an IBM company) without Ublock Origin one time... it was a nightmare. with ublock origin, its actually a nice simple way to check the weather lol

Ok I use uBlock Origin among others, but I really like the simple weather app!

I'd like to use some widgets but I don't, since I don't want to use an M$ account.....

Since I use a few sites for local weather "also read site paper anyway" I don't believe one app would suffice or worth the app streaming.

A Microsoft account (MSA) is a good choice if a user wants to use the same account on multiple devices, or wants to make it easy to use all / any Microsoft services. Setting up a preinstalled Windows 10 on a new device, after a clean install, or creating a new user on existing Windows...

I am running a bone stock upgrade from 10. Its running ok.. With 22H2 I really dislike the forced network connection. I did the upgrade so I didn't have to use a PIN. Ugh.

I don't really use them. It mostly keeps me up to date on the current temperature outside and it also changes the icon when stocks I have favved like ages ago on the Money app go up or down but it's mostly useless since I get my news elsewhere and my investments are not in specific company stocks... Have a free thumbnail though

Yeah I just mount 22h2 after rufus removes the required crap tad faster than waiting for ms servers to download the updates/...

Still need to do x99 rig.
