Bear in mind that you can get a 5500 and a B450 for somewhat less, and the extra two cores can come in handy. I believe Techspot did a review comparing them, and the 5500 held its own quite well.

Why are you buying arctic mx-4, take that off your order. the vetroo v5 will come with its own paste that will work just fine.

i wouldn't recommend a cheap Gigabyte mobo... get something else. MSI or ASRock have good budget priced boards.

get a cheap Corsair PSU.

... I would save up a little bit more money and find a good sale on a 6600 xt or 6700 xt instead of the 6600 as well. if you want longevity at 1080p.

Looking a little closer at the TechSpot review, I would recommend the R5 5600 with the AsRock Phantom Gaming 4. This was tested with the 6650 XT, and it improved both averages and 1% lows (more important, IMO).

Also, the thermal paste is not necessary. I believe you get a tube of TF7 - I did with the PA120SE from Thermalright.

thermal paste for brother
The psu you have listed is an overpriced paperweight that will not be enough to power your build. That cooler comes with a small tube of thermal paste so don't waste your money on the Arctic MX-4. btw 500GB fills up fast hence the reason I linked a 1TB SSD for the same price.

I would skip the 13100F. Games are moving to a much more multi-threaded model, and the 13100 will run out of cores pretty quickly.

Both the 12400F and 5600 are good choices with similar performance; the 5600 is a little cheaper.

If you go intel, I would avoid going with an "F" CPU if you don't have a spare working dedicated GPU.
It's always nice to have a iGPU in case you need it.

You don't need to spend money on aftermarket cpu coolers or pastes.

Use the stock cooler and get 32 GB of RAM.

Intel 12/13th gen is better for gaming than Zen 3 unless its the X3D.

12400F is 0.9% better average at 720p, compared to 5600. Not worth the premium IMHO.
