Is it possible to link two routers together wirelessly?

None are wired directly to the router. And the issue with a range expander is that there's no where for it to go except next to my systems, where the signal is just as weak as it would be if I don't get one, so it wouldn't really make a difference.

It would be about 20 - 40 metres. But it stall has to go through about 3 walls.

Why would it have to go next to your system?

All you need to do is plug it in somewhere in between....... are you telling me that you do not have a socket in between you and the other computers\router?

As I see it (and I think I understand it)..... The range expander is the best option. Everything is already on wireless, so no need to buy wireless cards. All you need is a plug in between.

Please, help me see what I am missing here?

I have 3 in house sockets in my rom though, 1 of which is being used for a 4-way surge protected extension, on which another is being used for another 4-way extension.
