I'm running an Intel i5 8250u, when I first bought Black Ops, the game ran fine and I had good temperatures, now hopping into combat training for 5 minutes is enough for it to heat up to the 90s, It's weird as no other game I have heats up my CPU as much as Black Ops, not even Black Ops 2 or 3.

I should also mention I'm using the UHD 620 iGPU which comes with the CPU.

I will attach my Throttlestop settings below.

heat up to the 90s
The ThrottleStop screenshot you posted does not show that. Turn on the Log File option on the main screen before playing a game so you have a record of your CPU performance and temperatures when you are done. Attach a log file to your next post. It will be in the ThrottleStop / Logs folder.

The 8250U has a 15W TDP power rating. You are running your CPU at almost double its rated power and are only hitting 79°C. I would definitely not be complaining about that. Your cooling is excellent compared to most similar laptops with this CPU.

for it to heat up to the 90s
Your Intel CPU is designed to run at full speed until it reaches 100°C. Your laptop manufacturer lowered the thermal throttling temperature to 95°C so the CPU is extra safe. As long as your computer is running well, you do not need to worry about the CPU temperature. Some games will work the CPU harder compared to other games and will heat up the CPU more. If you can play any games on the UHD 620 iGPU then you are doing great. The Intel GPU is within the CPU package so no surprise that the CPU package is getting hot when playing a game.

There is a forum thread for ThrottleStop related questions. The link is included in the ThrottleStop download.

Most people set the Intel GPU and iGPU Unslice voltages equally. I am not sure if there is any benefit setting the iGPU Unslice to double the Intel GPU value.

There is usually no need to check the Speed Shift EPP box on the main screen of ThrottleStop. If you are using the Windows Balanced power plan, Windows will take care of setting the EPP value appropriately.
