Is that the same as the HD-A30 in the US? Since that costs $399 over there, not a bad conversion. the thing is though, i could get a ps3 for £50 more.

personally i would get the ps3 for the £50 more but i am pretty much ready to bet on hd-dvd will be the next format of choice..

I would get the PS3 just because you can do more that's well worth the 50 extra...but the thing is I have an Xbox 360 so I could just pick up an HD-DVD add-on anytime...just my 2 cents.
