Next-gen cards?

I was reading the 8800GTS review that was posted, and in there it mentioned that the next-gen nvidia cards would be coming out early next year. Is there any more word on this?

The only term I've heard thrown around was a "9800 GTX", and people were discussing the numbering of that since ATI had the famous 9800.
