I noticed that Newegg had a 256MB 8800GT video card for sale... at a price of $209. But they recently removed it, so they must have sold out. Hopefully they will be getting other models in soon. The one I seen on Newegg was from XFX.

yeah I found them when they were showing through normal search method but not anymore. good thing i coped links down though :D I was hoping they would be slightly cheaper though :-/

well if ur looking for performance get the gt. but bang for they buck, get 3850. they both are good cards really.

Any reviews of 8800GT with 256MB memory. I wonder how much of a performance hit you get with popular 22" wide resolution like 1650x1050 ?

Expreview Review and Performance
this one doesn't include Crysis, but it gives a idea on how it performs. only bad this i see is the 20fps in COD4 4XAA 16XAF between 512mb and 256mb 8800gt. this chart makes me want to get the 256mb
