Battlefield 1942 - mods?

Hi

A question about BF1942. I have all addons (Road To Rome & Secret Weapons), I also have 1
mod called "Desert Combat". And it's a great mod.

I haven't played the game for ages, and me and some friends thought it would be fun to play LAN. Problem is that we can't find one mod : Vietnam mod. I know there was one, because I had it a long time ago..

Anyone who recalls this mod, and perhaps where to get it??

Eve of Destruction, is that the mod you were thinking of? That is the best BF 1942 mod, imo.

He said desert combat...

Desert combat and Forgotten hopes are the only to played mods of 1942, the rest are more or less dead.

 He said he has DC. Said he was looking for a Vietnam mod. Maybe Eve of Destruction -The Indochina Vietnam Conflict-?

Wikipedia has a list of BF1942 mods.

There is no vietnam mod for BF1942. However, for Battlefield Vietnam, there is a mod that installs like 3 maps from BF1942 that's supposed to have better gameplay because of the "superior" BFV engine. I like the BF1942 engine better.

And BF1942 looks bad to you? I think that game looks great, and hell even my 8500gt handles it maxed out...

Your welcome. I played many hours of EoD CTF. Before BF2 me and my E-buds played the heck out of BF 1942, it's X-packs and prob. most of it's mods. Galactic Conquest was up there with EoD imo. BF 1918 is a hoot. :toast:
