2 1650 but no crossfire

ok i buldi a rig with the p5bg premium(p965 ) and i install on it 2 1650 card but no crossifire option on the ccc wth? anyone know what shoul i do bios or in ccc? in the device drivers detects 2 1650 in the cc the same but no crossfire option are there any ccc croossfire??

im sorry to say but the 1650PRO doesnt support CF, like the 1950PRO, you need a Master card and a slave card just like the good ole days. i believe the only cards that support CF without master and slave are the X1650XT/GT (the X1650PRO came before both of them)

i would return the cards and buy a HD 3850 one of those will totally stomp those weak X1650's

that link goes nowhere and i dont believe they do, i dont know from personal experience but im pretty sure the PRO verison of the 1650 supports CF but its not like how you would like SLI/CF with later revisions

Ah, if you look at the card i dont think it supports the P965 Chipset sorry, yeap check the cards your right they do CF but apparently your still SOL because of the Chipset, and a single HD 3850 is still better... $160

Looks as if your right about the chipset, but the cards will crossfire (with the right chipset).
