My power supply has a 6 pin 12 volt socket plug,the mobo has 8 any fix ideas?

You must be confused... the 6-pin connector is for connecting graphics cards... your power supply must have a 4-pin or a EPS 8-pin connector to plug into the 8-pin plug on the board.

that 6 pin connector is for pci-e graphics cards. your psu has a 4-pin p4 12v mobo connector.

it doesn't need the extra 4 unless you have a quad core. just plug the 4pin in.

I think the 4-pin can handle the Allendale just fine. Isn't there a molex connector on the board too? Using that should compensate for the loss of not having 8-pin.

K i put it all together,cleared cmos,hit the power it booted went through some screens and even went to windows BUT my mouse isnt being recognized,it lights up when I boot but i loose it when it gets to windows,any ideas?
