Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811166033 he liked the case and he dosn't want anything else unless you guys have somthing bad to say about it.

I’m debating on the psu so any suggestions will be great same thing with the mobo. For some reason that mobo doesn’t have the 8pin connecter for the cpu but it has 4pin I thought quads needed an 8pin . Any way not much ocing will be done! If you guys can help me asp because im ordering before June 1st!

looks like a good build! The only thing i would change is just the mobo. I would go for a 790 series. But that's no big deal.

All looks spot on. Only thing i would possibly change is the RAM - if you can try and find the OCZ platinum RAM - comes with some sexy heatspreaders and a lifetime warranty.

I'd spend a little more, and get a ncier looking motherboard, just out of vanity. If I got a clear case, I'd stretch to a DFI board. Their current ones look pretty good, and I love the heatsinks on some of them.
Speaking of which, what about cooling?
If he's on stock, might as well get something better. He may want to overclock the Phenom a bit further.

Either way, looks like a solid build.

haha wish i'd have bought a kit, but the flashy lights of my tracers just swayed it . . .

And yes, i would reccomend something better than stock cooling - possibly an AC Freezer Pro or some form of xigmatek series.

With that phemon he'll need some really good cooling. Even if it's stock, get Xigmatek. It's cheap and it works really really well

Actually, I jsut mentioned it in a post in the Ack! Push-pins! thread in general nonsense, might want to get the Scythe Samurai-Z, as it's a nice small cooler, means it provides lots of space to work around, it's fairly light, and I personally like the look of it. Not sure how it would handle a quad, but with the fan arrangement meaning there's a side fan blowing over the CPU, it would be getting nearly direct cold air over it.
Might also like the Scythe Shuriken which looks to be an update to it, almost. Again, should benefit from the side fan position blowing air over it.
I found the Samurai-Z was so freakin' easy to put on, using the standard clips too.

What kind of performance is he looking for? I just built a GA-MA78G-DS3H last night after my GA-MA78G-S2H took a dump. That's what I get for buying M-ATX. I like the 780g chipset for HTPC/Gaming and it works well with my X3 8650. It's a decent overclocker and it will handle his Phenom 9600, but it does have its limitations. Her are a few pics:
