When I first got my BF2142 disc it was scratched up, to the point where I have to try to install it multiple times before I get lucky enough to actually install it. I never bothered returning it cause once I got it installed, the game worked fine. So yeah, it only has trouble installing.
A little under a year later, there is natrual wear&tear, add that to the damage that came with it... I can still get it to install and work, but I am starting to get worried about the future. I tried copy/pasting the contents of the origional DVD and burning it to a blank DVD and using that, it installed but when I tried to play, it bitched at me for not having the disc in. Go figure...
I legally own the game, or if you want to get technical, the rights to use the game, whatever... anyways I want to get this thing copied to a disc PROPERLY, so when I try to play with the copied disc it doesn't bitch at me.
Suggestions, genglemen?
If possible I want to just make a perfect copy of the game, I don't really want to have to use any funky software that hacks away the copy protection.
