Counter Strike Source Server

I have scrapped the idea for a CoD4 server (for now) and am looking at a CSS server. I already have it up and running and everything, but I need some help setting up some things FOR the server such as admin rights, mods, sounds, etc. If anyone can help me out, please post here and lemme know.

Mani Admin plugin is good. A surf RPGmod server would be cool or just cs_office/de_dust 2. I also like skill surf maps nut that's just me

What about sounds for like "dominating" when someone gets 6 kills in a row and some other admin sounds that can be played/heard by all players on the server?

Ive read guides and what not to get this stuff installed, but for some reason it doesnt physically tell me how to use it. Like for the mani admin plug in (which I am using) how do i access the admin panel and assign other ppl admin privileges?

all I know about mani is you start the console commands with"mani_"

As for the sounds, I believe they're called quake sounds and can probably be found on www.FPSbanana.com

For mani admin mod, you just have to type "admin" in (in console) and it will bring up the menu's...unless that is something you gotta set up.

You running it off your own dedicated server or paying for one?

I personally have never used mani admin mod...but will in the next week or so (getting a server myself).

I will help you out if I know the problem (once I have used it myself)

mani to set other admins u need to edit the .cfg files.... thats where all the tweaking happens in the cfg's not ingame.

Well yeah Im aware of that, but you need to access the admin panel within the game to do bans, freeze players, etc.

I cant get the betting system to work or the quake sounds. I extract them to the folders it tells me to, but it just doesnt seem to work.

It is my own dedicated server.

i dunno i co-lead a clan like 2 years ago, set up hlstats and mani and a few others to run on custom configs 1 night every week. Forgot how to do everything by now tho.

Thats using it as a valve server plug-in though and thats not what I want. You have to have CSS installed on the dedicated server which I dont.
