Change out the psu. Maybe this one. Just don't use roswill. I would get a bigger case too, maybe the antec 1200. Also, why the gx2? I would go w/ a 4870, or a gtx 260/280.

Thanks for the tip... the bigger case would make sense I guess.

It'll just make things easier. From what I've read the antec 900 is a nightmare w/ cable management, and if your getting a big card like the gx2 you'll want all the space you can get. If you can afford the extra, I would go for a full tower.

I've got my GX2 in a Lian Li V-1000 plus II mid-tower case, plenty of room. Here's a link for it's dimensions http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=270&cl_index=1&sc_index=25&ss_index=62 .

Make sure you get a PSU of atleast 600 watts that has a 8 pin and a 6 pin pci-e connection also. Also, get a better brand than Rosewill like Farlex suggested. Here's a list of power supplies that are compatable with the GX2 according to nvidia. http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_9800gx2_pwr_supply.html Personally, I'm using the Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750 psu. Haven't had a problem with it.

Also, EVGA has there version of the GX2 for sale on newegg for $284 right now( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130338 ). That's the same one I'm running, and I love it.

Because it's just a hair slower than the gtx280 and EVGA's version is less than $300 right now on the egg. :toast:

Good call, didn't realize it was so cheap. A good buy indeed.

Your memory is listed on the QVL, that's a very good thing on these Asus boards.

I have a similar rig, only I went with the 4850. I plan to CF later this year. The Q9450 will EOL very shortly, you may be able to pick up a Q9550 for the same price.
