[UK]Pre-order S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky for £17...

I couldn't wait any longer so I've pre-ordered it. I went over to play.com as usual, however, they've changed, they're the same any more. They suck!

So I did a quick look around t'see what sort prices I could get and I managed to get STALKER: Clear Sky for £16.93.

Can't say I've ever used this site before, but hey, you have to try these things. So, if anyone in the UK is wanting the DVD version and want it for cheaper than everywhere else.

Just so you know, I just got an email saying gameplay do this on a pre-order for £17.99 delivered.

Still not as good a deal as yours InnocentCriminal, but in case someone wants to get but doesnt want "to try these things", lol.

See, I've never heard of GamePlay either, but I have heard of LoveFilm. I'm forever having their adverts fall out of the magazines I buy or read when I'm loitering in Smiths. XD

I've used Gameplay as a source for a while (have quite a few depends on price where i get it). They're pretty good, sorted out my "lost" PGR4 really quick after a postman decided to nab it. :mad:

I'm 99% sure they are actually owned by Game.

i said there was a bug he went mental it was a bug tho with the latest patch

ive apologised because it wasnt his fault i was using the wrong patch, tbh honest it said there may be issues so it was worth a try

if he dosnt like the new stalker then fine but ill wait untill i play the finished game to see what i make of it

IDK, man - I think they might be on par for the extreme settings . . .

for example, I've been running SoC with the weather overhaul mod, and a few other tweaks at 1440x900 - even on my system, there are times where it starts bogging down . . .

the 4GB DRAM requirement does look a little funny, though :wtf:

Well I was running it on Full Dynamic lighting, 1280x1024 maximum detail, and it was fine for me, just a little laggy in some places, as expected for an alpha build.
