Need for speed most wanted many say to be the best of the hole NFS series.. i too have it and it is fun

I think MW is the best out of the lot despite the poor coding and terrible acting.

But currently GRID is the king when it comes to fun racing.
Just don't go online if you constantly expect clean racers.
It's just not possible.

GRID is a good game much more sim then arcade.

Test Drive Unlimited is a good game as well. Very open..think oblivion for a driving game. I have both. When I get tired of batch races in GRID I run TDU and go explore.

Flatout Total Carnage is great. Just got out a little while ago, very fun. Especialy if you miss the Carmageddon series... :) Not exactly the same though, but i like the ideea of a destructible environment, taking shortcuts strait through the mall at 200km/h :p

GRID is a good game much more sim then arcade.

That is the complete opposite of what GRiD is. Codemasters NEVER said it was a sim. It has been debated on their forums since it was released. GRiD is more arcade. The physics aren't quite right, no adjustable setting, mind-numbingly stupid AI, and other cars that are near impossible to beat.

In my opinion, don't buy it. I played it for about 2 weeks then stopped. Races get repetitive, and multiplayer is a s***show.

Grid Online is Flatout Total Carnage, with mutiple "LOL awesome" text messages being typed after the destruction. Which maybe an good indicator of the maturity level of those you will race with. With the some occasions of a no contact race leaving you typing "Awesome, a clean race!!"

Does any body know of a great racing game i can get for my pc... i don't want indy car games but a game like xbox 360 Project Gotham racing or Forza
any help would be greatly appreciated :toast:

Not a huge fan of the genre but I am thouroughly enjoying GRID at the moment.

I often sit for hours non-stop with a huge inane grin on my face when playing it. Especially the Demolition Derby races online.

I think you and I might be classed by the hardcore race-car gamers as the annoying noobs who only play online to crash into people.

Get RaceDriver: Grid. Not the most realistic racing game ever, but its really fun (if not incredibly frustrating at times). The 'special demo' is great and you can play it online :toast: Although, playing online require patience as people are complete idiots and as soon as you are about to pass them on the track *BAM* they crash into you and you're lucky if you're not last! :(

To bad there are no games like Gran Turismo or Forza on the PC
