Jedi Academy. That game was one of the last to use the Quake 3 engine and it milked it for all it was worth. Great effects and lighting at the time, and an all around great game. Wolfenstein comes a CLOSE second as it is one of my all time favorite games. (Cant wait for the next one *Reminisces about the Wolfenstein girls mock killing me and my friend at quakecon this year*)

you can have similar commands in any program, it makes it easier.

For Call of Duty 2, Infinity Ward has ditched the Quake 3 engine in favor of all-new proprietary technology. In many regards, it still looks a lot like Call of Duty - the interface looks the same, and the characters look and move in a familiar style. There are some new bells and whistles, however, from the real-time lighting and shadows to the advanced smoke effects that look like they'll play a big part in the game. At first glance, it doesn't pack the "wow" punch of a Half-Life 2 or DOOM 3, but it looks to be a big improvement from the first game.

gamespy reports the quake III engine is not in the game, also if it had the quake III engine there would be refrance to ID on the package and on startup and there isnt. COD4 is based on a highly optimized COD2 engine.

Many also though Medal of Honor Pacfic Assault was quake III based also for the same reason

I've gotta cast my vote for Alice as well.

As much as I liked many of the other titles, and even QuakeIII itself, Alice was definitely different, twisted, and a lot of fun to play. :toast:

i never played Alice, if i see it for sale ill pick it up, then agian I have never played Quake III or Arena either, when they came out I didn't have net, and by the time I did, it was 2005 and I was already playing other games online.
