Hey guys, so I just got back from NVISION 08 with a brand new EVGA nForce 790i SLi FTW Edition motherboard in hand. Won it at one of the EVGA raffles, and now I'm offering one of you guys the chance to take it home.

The best part is that I got the box signed by Vince "k|ngp|n" Lucido himself. Really nice guy, and and amazing overclocking legend. I removed the plastic wrapping from the box to have it signed, but the box is still sealed and in mint condition. It hasn't been registered on the EVGA site either.

I will also throw in a free EVGA nForce 790i SLi FTW - Designed FTW t-shirt (large) :sol:

Asking price is $330, but I'm a reasonable person and I will be more than happy to negotiate.

Yeah but if he signed the mobo itself, don't you think the heat dissipating from the heatsinks would likely screw up his sig?

Thanks bro. The only reason I'm selling it really is so I can gather up enough cash for Nehalem. After 45+ hours of research, I'm sold on it.

But don't get me wrong, it is VERY TEMPTING not being able to open this board up right this second and play with it :)

Meh, anyone could be an overclocking legend if they had retarded amounts of cash to throw at this hobby...some of us have families, jobs, and lives. Regardless, nice board.

Vince is an independent contractor. He is sponsored by EVGA, but doesn't work for them. His hobby, however, is part to full time and is what makes him cash. He's 35, lives in Detroit, but doesn't have a family yet.

I Disagree Strongly with your statement, overclocking does require skill, knowledge, some innovation and god given talent, but just adding crazy money will not do it..

I agree money playes a part in it, but you need certian skills, understanding and god given talent to be #1, that is a proven fact. Not #2 or even good, Vince is #1 right now and I doubt that you could give anyone some cash and they would be #1.

I bet there are a lot of people that have unlimited budgets, but they aren't #1,
Kingpin is #1.
And since i can overclock and mod and have been doing it for many years, I understand what it takes to be real good, not jsut good and I give him the ALL respect he deserves.

hey wallingford, newtown here!

Newtown, woo! Also, I do agree with your statements however, I should have been more specific. Put someone who knows what they're doing (a good majority of people here, XS, [H], etc) or Fitseries3  and they could do just as good with an almost limitless budget. You do realize kingpin gets ridiculous amounts of stuff (such as I believe it was 20 something QX9770's to find the best one, etc).
