FIFA 09 PS3/XBOX vs PC

Hey guys.

I downloaded the demo for the PC a few days ago but for some reason my gamepad would not work correctly on it so I decided to download the PS3 version and I was completely blown away on how different the PC version is.

PS3 looks incredible and the PC version looks ok but play like crap. The PS3 version is great fun and PES has a HUGE battle here. I have always been a fan of PES and always played PES and did'nt like how FIFA played.

But now I think PES will be second choice for me!

Anyone else here tried it out? what do you guys think?

a kno its BS how different the versions are!

FYI on PES being your second pick this time, wait untill youve played PES 2009 its changing so much because the gap is closing between it and FIFA the guy who created PES thought they better overhaul the whole game from passing and shooting to graphics

i will try both PES and FIFA demos and we shall see who becomes king of football for another year

Its very strange! I did'nt expect to play FIFA09 on PS3 and see any difference! I was simply blown away by the actual difference!
The players are very smooth when they move and making tackles are so much easier than the past FIFA games which is a HUGE bonus for me.
Passing seems to be different too and much nicer.
Shooting has improved greatly too! The swerve on the ball when they shoot appears much more realistic.
When players collide with each other it looks very impressive.

If you have not tried the console version I seriously advise you to try it out! the PC and PS3 IS REALLY DIFFERENT!

This is the best FIFA game I have ever played and for the first time I was actually really enjoying playing the game! I knew FIFA would get back into my life! Last time I enjoyed FIFA was FIFA 2003.

Yea I am really looking forward to FM09! I couldnt believe they actually went 3D! So thats going to be interesting.
Also they worked on it for 3 years so it should be a solid 3D engine! Can't wait!

Doesnt suprise me with the pc versions tho for some reason ea have lost there way in that department. I remember how good the pc one was in the late 90's but now its just the same jive with better graphics *sigh*.

ya their a quality developer, i expect fm09 to be some great stuff. Got 2 know a bunch of them pretty good beta testing football manager live. I was 1 of the 2 americans in the initial closed beta release haha i got picked on for that 1.

Ive played the demo on the 360 and it looks very good. I cant comment on the PS3/PC versions, but usually footie games are better on consoles.

pes on the pc is a port of the xbpx 360 version so last year it was excelent not to mention you can get all the downloads for it like extra stadiums and user edited teams so the kits are right and names

PES2008 is a great game. I have been playing that for 8 months or so and started playing FIFA08 because I wanted something new to play.
Graphics for FIFA08 on PC are horrible compared to PES. I am glad I have a PS3 now so I can buy FIFA09 for it and have some good times with it!

I have played the demo several times and love it every time! to bad its only 2 mins a half.

The release date is 3rd next month yea?

I bought my copy on play.com which is for the 3rd of september. I hope to god they send it a few days before hand so it will actually arrive on friday. I don't want to have to wait a whole weekend until monday to get it since I could run into my local retailers and buy it! That would be annoying.
