I want to overclock my Intel Pentium D 820 [Dual Core] Processor, but I need some expert help. So here are my specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium D 820 [2.80Ghz, 2 Cores, 90nm]
Mainboard: Intel D946GZIS
Memory: 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC-5300 DDR2 333MHz
PSU: 450W 12v/30A
Fan: 1 Side Fan [directly from the CPU] and 1 Back Fan

You can learn alot here in the forums, just check 1st the overclocking stickies, and then from there if you need further assistance ask the guys here :D they are masters of the art.

Well those cpus tend to run quite hot. Make sure your fan is on full speed and then check temps. If below 50C on load then consider overclocking.

Also to Intel boards other than 975 and x38/x48 allow overclocking? I dont think they do.

only way u would be able to overclock on that board u will have to use a windows base OC utility

u can use clockgen and i think systools
