And after all this discussion, has anyone done the check by connecting front and rear connector to see if there was a difference? I don't think so. And I personally believe that there is no difference in sound quality.
I need advice to upgrade CPU. Gigabyte motherboard ga-X58a-UD7 rev.1, now running with i7 920 @ 3.88 Ghz. I'm hesitating between the Xeon W3690 priced 55€ or the X5690 priced 38€ on Aliexpress. Which of the two gives better performance?
Perhaps the problem is not in the water block but in the rest of the circuit. Have you checked that the liquid circulates well and the fans work correctly? What size is the radiator?
