    Radeon R9 290X Features 64 ROPs

I'll add mine then: I read this yesterday, this is a disgustingly useless post that states the obvious and then tops it with repugnance. Why post just to criticize common ACCEPTED human behavior? Huh? On topic: I think AMD has a secret design just-in-case, which is expensive, low yield, huge...

Intel Delivers Intelligence from Device to Cloud to Drive Internet of Things

Too little too late. Didn't cost them much either since it's a revision of an existing architecture. Couldn't think of this years ago, UMPC failed to make them zillions so there was absolutely no market, despite what the peasants were saying. Instead we get a hardware backdoor called vPro...

    Radeon R9 290X Priced at $729.99 on Newegg.com

At this price point, 1 sell = 3 sells with a healthly profit. You could argue that there are more 'parts' that make up a higher end card but those are cheap, so is 'better' silicon. Add on some $20 bling and you're sustainable.

G.Skill TridentX Most Popular Overclocking Memory for 3 Years in a Row

I bought my GSkill years ago, they were the best I could get my hands on: 2GBx2 1600 6-8-6-24-1T. Haven't found anything better worth buying.

    [Giveaway #2] Star Citizen

OMG, wow, I want it. I didn't realise Chris was back in the scene when I bought into Richard Garriott's new game, Shroud of the Avatar. Had I known about Star Citizen I most likely would have gone with Chris. He's a legend, incase you doesn't know, and highly capable of making top quality...

Intel Cracks Down on Motherboard Vendors Offering Overclocking on non-Z Chipset

Whatever. I've got two balls: one for intel and one for nvidia. I'll start feeling sympathy for lost profits and dictatorial practices when these crooks stop evading their taxes.

Scythe Announces The Multi-Platform Card Reader Kama Reader USB 3.0

I read about a card reader that had USB 3.0 ports and used USB 3.0 for the compact flash interface but not the SD interface, which was funneled through USB 2.0 instead at slower speeds. Sounds like Scythe didn't made that mistake but it's something to watch out for when buying a card reader with...

Intel Roadmap Outlines LGA to BGA Transition

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but doesn't this give Intel a reason to raise prices on socketed (high-end) offerings? - less common format - enthusiast excuse Other than that, I don't mind BGA for my secondary computers, which never get upgrades or have a need for bleeding edge...

Existing EK FC Water Blocks Compatible With GeForce GTX 760

I don't understand. Yes. maybe you could get 770 performance but at what price? I suppose if you're upgrading and reusing the block, you might buy this card for water cooling ... Ok, touche. It would make a good, silent mini gamer.
