Yes you can get the HD7950 boost edition too,its a good card,overclocks very nice,sapphire has great rma support n my country atleast so just giving you an idea about them. If you get the Hd7950 then get the boost edition one.

Go with the HD7970ghz,you are getting a decent deal so grab it,it will be good enough for you.

Seems pretty okey,but the price should be around $500 mark,hope you can negotiate with your friend. i5 760 is also a nice overclocker,you can easily take it to 3.8ghz mark with proper cooling if you feel slow at stock speed. Gtx570 is still a very good card,I also own gtx570 and can say this...
