Apple announces Mac transition to Apple silicon

Some people will try to downplay this but this is a major blow for intel. Performance per watt used to be their strong point.

Intel's Comet Lake Absence at CES Reportedly Related to Power Consumption Wall

I remember the time when intel shills roamed this site (and others) making false claims like that. Of course the Q6600 could never go that high on air ...not even close!

AMD Ryzen 9 3950X Beats Intel Core i9-10980XE by 24% in 3DMark Physics

I was an intel user and I'm now switching to a 3950X mini itx for my CAD workstation needs. What's interesting to me is that the upgrade path is pretty clear. The ryzen 4000 series is 6-7 months away and will be backwards compatible. How awesome is that?

NVIDIA Influencing YouTube Tech Journalists' Product-Placements, Alleges Whistleblower

I wouldn't be surprised if all companies did this. Even if this particular whistle-blower is a con, does anyone really trust the media? I think it's very hard to be subjective in this day and age and all these web "journalists" / "influencers" / "bloggers" need to make a living...

Intel Core i9-9900KS to Cost around $600

Maybe. People are still willing to pay extra for whatever gaming performance advantage they can get. Pay Intel that is... LOL!

Intel Core i9-9900KS to Cost around $600

I see this as a gaming specific component, so... - Recycled technology: How? It's just a new addition to the current lineup - Still 8 core: It's more than enough for gaming - High price compared to competition: What competition? The 9900K? Amd can't compete with either in gaming - Still has...

Intel Core i9-9900KS to Cost around $600

It's a bit higher than what i was expecting to be honest but still very reasonable for what it is. I wonder what the percentage of high end gamers is, compared to content creators, within the PC desktop market.

    New Information on Intel's Upcoming i9-9900KS Processor Outed - 127 W TDP

So basicaly a cherry picked 9900K with a decent factory overclock and the best gaming performance on the market right now. If the price is right, it's definitely worth considering. The TDP is a non issue IMO.
