I really dislike all these off topic articles trying to justify mining.

I don't understand how the TechPowerUp ratings work.
How does this have the same score as the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X when it's 70$ cheaper and has lower temps?
How did the Gaming X even get a 9.8 score for offering nearly the same performance with 120$ over the standard price?
Unfortunatly it doesn't work that way. If the GPU is a bottleneck for the system then upgrading he CPU will have next to no effect on performance in games (in most games at least). The higher the resolution the more evident this is because higher resolution alone mostly just increases the load...
How the hell did this get an 8.9..?
It's weaker than the 690GTX yet costs 60%(!!!) more.
By far the lowest performance per dollar of any card.
Almost double the power consumption of the GTX 690.
It takes three slots + space for the block.
I mean come on, how can anyone take that score seriously?
