I remember reading an analysis report earlier in the year they expected prices to go up by winter/holiday but I haven't seen that materialize. Unless they're strictly talking enterprise?
This may work for enterprise customers but good luck getting any more sales with regular customers. Samsung isn't on top anymore and the competition is always releasing cheaper alternatives.
Remember that storage prices go down overall, never back up as they increase storage capacity per chip...
I can't help but think that the new AI trend is another bubble for GPU manufacturers. Once it crashes they'll be scrambling for customers again, or worse yet those AI programs will help corporations develope their own chips for their needs and cut the legacy companies out.
At this rate people will start using NVMe 2230 drives for their smart devices and manufacturers can avoid the licensing fees.
I use to have hope that these would be adopted but now I feel the speeds are too slow to compete with anything today or the future.
Why not just ban all Nvidia GPUs altogether since they utilize CUDA and the U.S. obviously wants to cripple their server development. I view most of this as unserious and just showboating, more dramatic efforts could be taken if we were serious.
Like others have pointed out it's too late...
Still have my Note 10+ and it's sad after 4 years they still haven't changed their design much; they removed the SD Card slot (even though there are dual sim models available, which means they have the space to add it back in), kept the screen at 6.8" but with 120hz support, same 12GB of memory...
Love their technology but with competition from other vendors with better or more portable display technology, they're really pricing themselves out of the market. Their brand doesn't have the same weight like it did when they were the only fish in town, for the same price you can get a full...
This would be a nice way to hold all my emulators and roms in one place for my phone. Right now I have 1TB of storage and with music plus family photos it's nearly full.
The internet isn't always going to be there so I have a lot of music albums in case (and it has come in handy in dead spots).
Almost wondering why the didn't go with a larger gauge wiring but that would only make things melt faster. More bad news for Nvidia if this ends up being an issue with gaming rigs that have bad air flow; need to carry away the heat from the wires or it can lead to some melted connectors.
I've used a 42" screen as a computer monitor before and I was very comfortable with the size and distance. This being able to curve would make that expierence better plus the added extra of 4K and 120hz.
At that size the 4K detail will be better noticed in games, everyone has their preferences...
Was excited until I read only USB-C Gen 1 and Intel chips. Nothing against Intel but I would like to do some light gaming and USB-4 support at this point for productivity. Oh well, next year I suppose *shrug*.
I use to be heavy into Android in the early days but now it feels like the OS updates don't really matter anymore. It didn't help in the mid 2010's when other vendors did interesting software tricks like Motorola's always-on display or Samsung's multi-window before offical Android OS...
Still overpriced for what it offers, should have faster charging since the battery life is medicore (or actually have a bigger battery, +5000 mAh) and still no microSD card slot even though it's a "productivity" device. No high end cameras still from the Galaxy S line and the internal camera is...
