i am wondering about something.. if i flash a moded bios which is made for any HD4850 for my Vapor-X, will be any problem? :confused:

i updated the bios of the mobo(p35 ds4) (F12 to F13)and it works.. i could reach 2600xt under dos with command ''atiflash -i'' but still cant reach 3870.. i have tried to boot from floopy and used a disk with an autoexec.bat file which contains the command ''atiflash.exe -f -p 0...

Unfortunately i have tried to use the command ''atiflash -i'' with my 2600xt(the good one) and i have recieved the same warning .. adapter not found.. not only with the bad 3870..but my 2600xt was not flashed before.. i have bought it a few weeks ago..its not broken either.. is there any setting...

could you explain basicly how i can make an EEPROM with a correct bios.. i have a 9600xt agp and an old Geforce mx 400 agp..can i use one of them to make a EEPROM mechanism to flash bios to my hd3870 ? should i cut the EEPROM chip from an old card?
