If the case is actually made primarily of aluminum and glass, and doesn't use an existing chassis, $999 seems about right just in terms of tooling and material costs (look at the big limited edition cases from InWin).
Looks are subjective of course (I also think its hideous), but purely from a...
People were just spending all day farming public events (for what, I'm not sure), and noticed they were getting less and less experience every time. Public events give honestly more experience than they should have been, so it was the fastest way to fill the bar.
Ugh, I hate how everyone is just running with this story. Destiny 2 has a ton of other issues that need to be addressed but this particular one is completely irrelevant. This XP change only affects the XP it takes to gain levels AFTER you've hit max level, after which the only rewards are the...
Ok, then which of these articles is real?

DIYPC is just an importer, they rebrand china cases and sell them on newegg.
If you spend time perusing the sub $50 cases you'll see the same design surface a lot.
So basically both DIYPC and Xigmatek are rebranding the same case (who knows who the actual OEM is)
Here's another of the same...
Intel platforms wouldn't really need this but AMD is a different story. Throw an 8350 into any middle-rung board and you'll see the mosfets easily touch 100C without some direct airflow. Alternatively, if you're crazy, using a 9370/9590 in ANY motherboard.
Shots are obviously a render/heavily photoshopped but both the standard S340 and Razer H440 have been out for a while, just put them together and you get this. By far my biggest complaint is that the Razer logo is illuminated on the PSU shroud in the H440 version and visible through the side...
I really hope they mean that this thing "supports' 64GB of RAM, rather than the current implication that it comes standard with it. Considering a 4x16GB Kit runs about $500-600 right now that seems a bit foolish.
Lot of news sites seem to be focusing on this 64GB thing, literally every Z170...
It's also worth mentioning that companies like NZXT and Phantex are creating 100% unique chassis that they themselves cover all the costs you mentioned. Cheap cases generally use readily available chassis and do their own front and top plastic for a unique look or in this case (pun not intended)...
Windows 10 is going to be a free upgrade to everyone who owns windows 7 and 8, so manufacturers have to make sure that those who run through the upgrade on day 1 don't suddenly have non-functional PCs. I see no problem with hardware manufacturers getting their drivers sorted prior to release...
