No issues with my 4080 after 1 year To be fair though, because of the issue with the connector, I made it a point to keep my gpu power wires loosely ran, so the wires come straight out the connector and gradually curves up instead of having a sharp bend right at the connector.

I had two deferent 775 boards paired with a E8400, a EVGA 750I FTW motherboard and a Gigabyte P45 UD3P. Both boards allowed for a 4.5GHz OC. The Gigabyte board also allowed for a Q9650 to be OC'ed to 4.5GHz. I didn't have the Q9650 when I had the EVGA board.
