Well all of the work I have had to put into this.. I found Tigerdirect.ca had a Gt630 card that after a mail in rebate works out to about $30. I picked that up.. installed it.. and problems are gone. I guess for a lot of this stuff parts are so cheap its worth a lot less than my time. James

OK, so lets assume I want to upgrade the bios of my Powercolor 9550 with the Mira -5ns ram. What bios should I use? I have not seen anyone post which 9600 bios people used. Do you use a powercolor 9600 pro bios and then change memory timings as in Ripsaw's posting? I am not an overclocking...

3ns, lucky... nice 9550!! Most of us that picked up Powercolor 9550 got Mira 5ns 3ns can be overclocked much higher.. it will make that card a very nice value for the money!!! James
