  • For the first time in the past 20 years I've bought an ATI video card and God I'm so horribly upset about that.

I don't remember a single issue with my GTX 1060 while owing it for four years. Today after playing CSGO for just three hours, the game froze, I had to end it using the Task Manager and from then on Radeon Software started crashing and restarting, the game didn't go beyond the welcome screen (kept freezing after loading a map) and then finally after four attempts to start CSGO Windows simply showed black screen.

I couldn't do anything else but shut the system down. It was running somewhat - I could see the mouse cursor and I could move it. What an experience. That's with the RX 5600 XT which is ostensibly not affected by "black screen" - or maybe it is? The PC is running stock - nothing is overclocked.

From experience, their mainline drivers are just shit... are the Radeon Pro drivers an option for the 5600 XT? I'd try if so.
Birdie, I meant those companies who comes in the news saying they are the first ones on something. Acer says they are the first ones to include Coffee lake on their notebooks, so what? XD

Sorry if I made you think that way.

140 chars aren't enough to express what's going on with me at the moment, so I'll remain silent if you don't mind. Thank you very much.
