    is the 4890 worth it?

Yep I agree, I have two 4890's (crossfire setup, but not for much longer) and at best it is just an average card, there is nothing that is ground breaking about it at all, except maybe the noise from the fans under load could break a noise level record.

Arctic Cooling Announces Arctic F PWM Case Fans

Yes the extra PWM socket is a good idea, I use a couple of Arctic Cooling AF12025 PWM's on my Thermalright TRUE Black 120 on top of an i7 920 CPU & they work very well (Real quiet too until I play Crysis). I also run one Noctua NF-P12 1300rpm 120mm as a case fan plugged into the third Arctic...

Gigabyte Launches New Super Overclock Graphics Cards

I don't think much of Gigabyte these days, I have a couple of their ATI HD 4890's 1 GB & they are very ordinary. I run them in a crossfire setup & one always out performs the other, the lower performing one always gets 10 degrees hotter no matter how I place it in the case. Every time I run the...

Arctic Cooling Announces Arctic F PWM Case Fans

No need for PWM on these big babies because they spin at a much slower RPM. The bigger the fan the more air that gets pushed around using less RPM. If the Motherboard kicked in via PWM and boosted a 200mm case fan to 1500 RPM the air pressure would blow your case of the desk....lol:laugh:

    Win 7 Start up problems

I have downloaded RealTemp 3.00 & it works fine but I cannot get it to Auto run at start up on Win 7 Ultimate. 1) First I tried dragging a RealTemp shortcut to the Start-up folder; I got an error message at next reboot that said "unable to start program because WinRing0.dll is not on system"...
